Apple Days

Apple juice/sauce making day at grandma and grandpa's.  We got through a LOT of apples.  We also had a great birthday celebration with cousins.  Blessings of being closer to family!

Three-year old style...

LOVE the backward pants.

Bring on the boots!  : )

Gilbert House in Salem

Fun time with cousins at a children's museum-with a REALLY cool outdoor playground.

Everyday fun...

Fun at Al's Nursery with Grandma Blunck and cousins, Grandma's favorite place!!!
Homemade crowns, notice Hunter's big H on the front.  Nice!  : )
Hunter is definitely my helper in the kitchen, he LOVES to pour ingredients in!
These two cheer up any rainy day!!!  Pure sweetness, right here.

1st day of 1st

Here's the big first grader!  Hard to believe!  Benjamin has been a courageous little boy in this new adventure, and it is amazing to watch him experience some scary things (like a new school) with great determination.  We miss Bethel a lot, he had such a great kindergarten year!  I'm sure there is a great year in first grade ahead of us, though.  : )  Oak Elementary, here we come!  And for our Bethel friends, he still gets to be a Bee. (Well, a Stinger, but close enough).

1st day breakfast...Stuffed french toast with berries and whipped cream.  Yum!

Oregon, Home Sweet Home!

I am WAY behind, so I'll just start with the present.  We are now all together in Oregon-soon to be moved into our new Oregon home.  : )  David keeps saying that in some ways it feels like he has never been away, so that must be a good thing.  Home sweet home.  : )  The boys are happy and doing well, and have had non-stop cousin/grandparent/aunt and uncle fun all summer.  The day after David joined us here in Oregon (Labor Day) we went on a hike at the BEAUTIFUL Silver Creek Falls state park.  At one point I made the mistake of saying to David, "Who needs Disneyland?," because the boys were having so much fun.  Well, I didn't mean it!  We STILL need to go to Disneyland at some point.  : )  In the meantime, it is amazing at how happy three little boys are with rocks, sticks, and some water!  Fun times, I tell you.  These boys fill my heart with joy and gratitude!

Random cuteness...

I haven't posted anything for awhile, and these are just random.  BUT hopefully it will help me get back into it.  Right now I am in Idaho with our boys, visiting my parents.  Doing great and having tons of fun with family.  These pictures are from February, because that's what I have to work with.  I'll get more recent pictures up soon.  : )
Preston showing his nose....
Hunter being cute and then flexing muscles.

Benjamin in the middle of some great scheme--getting all prepared to explore outside.
