Blowing out the Candles

We had a birthday dinner with Uncle Dusty, Aunt Janeece, and cousins Karl and Phillip. Benjamin struggled with blowing the candles out but Karl was happy to help him out. : )

Snowman Cupcakes

I got the idea for these snowman cupcakes from the familyfun.com website. It was fun to make them and Benjamin was excited about them. : )

Christmas/Birthday Party

We had a very fun Christmas/Benjamin birthday party with our "preschool" group on Thursday morning. We decorated little Christmas trees, sang Christmas songs, played with red and green playdough, and made snowman cupcakes. : ) Benjamin has such fun friends.

Covered Bridge Trip

About an hour south of Lafayette, in Parke county, there are some beautiful covered bridges. It is such a lovely place to drive through, especially in the fall. We love to visit Bridgeton mill and were happy to see the Bridgeton mill bridge that was burned down two years ago and has now been rebuilt. It's a pretty neat story.

Grandma Blunck's visit

When cousin Phillip was born Granmda Blunck came out for a visit and we all had such a great time being together. These pictures are from a trip to Happy Hollow Park. The fall leaves were beautiful. We are so grateful for family!

The boys had a great time mixing food coloring in shaving cream and making a big mess! : )

Benjamin's Room

Benjamin is CRAZY about balls and can name all of the different types. SO, we have redone his room with a sports ball theme.

Halloween Pictures

These first few pictures are from the Halloween party that our play group had at our house. We started with a Halloween parade up and down the street. Then we played games and frosted sugar cookies.
Benjamin was a darling skunk for Halloween and we had a fun time going to trunk or treat at the church.

Pumpkin Patch

Myself and three other moms are doing a "preschool" group every Thursday. We have a lot of fun doing some organized activities. Last Saturday morning we went to a pumpkin patch. The boys had a lot of fun playing with trucks in a bin of corn, checking out animals (yes, Benjamin is a climber as you'll see in the picture), and going on a hayride to the pumpkin patch.

I had to post this picture of my friend Brandage. She is a super multi-masking mom. : )

Welcome, Cousin Phillip!!!

One of our greatest blessings in living in Indiana is that David's sister and husband came here to go to school at Purdue, too. They have Karl, who's two, and Phillip who was born last Saturday. Congratulations!!! He's a sweet baby boy who doesn't make a sound unless he's really hungry. David's mom is here for a few weeks and so we've been having a fun time with family.
Uncle David meets Phillip.

Karl was at our house for a few days and this is a cute picture I got of the boys before church on Sunday.

Mr. Personality

Here Benjamin is wearing his favorite shirt because it is a firetruck that lights up. I love seeing what simple joys he has in life. This is a project I finally put together, a picture for each month of his first year. Amazing how fast they change!Benjamin kept begging one of the sister missionaries for "stickers" so she kept putting post-it flags on his face. He was happy. : )
