I haven't put anything on here in a long time. So, I am going to start with today! Two weeks ago we found out that we couldn't continue at Oak Elementary (where Benjamin has gone to for 1st and 2nd grade) because of enrollment size. I was so sad, but after tears and some praying I talked to Benjamin about it and he has handled it like a champ!!! I am so proud of him, and know it will be a great year at Timber Ridge. The school is 3rd-8th grade, so at least all of the 3rd graders will be new to the school. (And I have been reassured that the 7th/8th graders rarely cross paths with 3rd graders. Who needs that drama in 3rd grade?) He is very excited that the nice neighbor friends Caleb and Rachel will be there with him. Hunter starts kindergarten on Monday, so I will post some pictures of that sweet boy on his first day.

Tulip Fields
Dentist!
Hunter is a CHAMP at the dentist, which is a GOOD thing because the poor boy had to have an abscessed tooth pulled... Tooth Fairy came early for this boy!!! His adorable grin just got even more adorable, as my friend says.
Baseball FUN
Benjamin is doing baseball right now, and it's such a fun family time. David meets us at the games after work and we play on the playground or in the big fields around the baseball diamond. It's a lot of fun for all of us.
1st Grade!
Benjamin is having a great year in first grade, and these are some pictures of his conference--he was really proud to show, especially Dad, all of the things that he is learning. He has a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Cutsforth, and I get to go in once a week to volunteer in his classroom thanks to a friend who watches my other two little ones.
Benjamin also got an "E" award at school and they had a neat assembly to recognize one student from each class for their great effort. Yeah, Benjamin!!! He was proud.

Pumpkins
Last Monday was our pumpkin carving night. Benjamin's face cracks me up in the 2nd picture. No worries, he got over being grossed out and worked very hard. He even used a library book to design the face on his pumpkin. Then the picture of Hunter with his pumpkin makes me laugh--I didn't realize he had such a crazy obsession with it. : )
Around the house...
Hunter, just being fun. : )
Benjamin and Hunter decided they wanted to have Preston sleep in their room, and Benjamin got Preston to settle in next to him, for about 30 seconds. : ) We tucked them in and it didn't take long for Benjamin to call us back in to take Preston to his own bed. I don't know why he thought it would be hard to sleep with Preston jumping on him. : )
Saturday David took the boys to the park. I love the pictures of each boy with a stick. That's all they need to have a great morning!
Preston has been big into pretending that he's driving lately. He wanted me to sit there so that he could drive me to Grandma and Grandpa's house. : )
Pumpkin Patch Fun
We have had plenty of chances to visit pumpkin patches around here.
We went with cousins....
Benjamin's class went on a field trip and I got to tag along...
