Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a day to count my blessings!  I am so grateful for the courage of three women that have given me the greatest privilege in this life, to be a mother to three beautiful sons.  I remember the first Mother's Day with Benjamin and finding myself just sobbing after Sacrament meeting, thinking about his birth mother and hoping that she was having a good day.  I have such tender feelings regarding the sacrifice made when a woman chooses to place her child for adoption.  It is a sacred trust that I feel deeply.
I love my boys!!!!!!

Air Force Museum

We, of course, had to visit the air force museum with Aunt Lynette.  I didn't take a lot of pictures, but here are a few.  We went on base to see the presidential planes, the picture of Lynette with the boys is in front of the Air Foirce 1, most known presidential plane, used by many presidents-up to President Clinton.  It was the one that Lyndon Johnson was sworn in on after President Kennedy's assassination.  Anyway, there are is a lot of history there!

The first night that Aunt Lynette was here we had smores and played outside.  She also shared some great treasures from Peru with us, like a really cool head scratcher that was "made in china".  : )

Aunt Lynette's Ohio Homecoming

David's sister Lynette returned home from her mission in Peru and we were lucky enough to be her first stop in the United States.    We were SOOO excited to see her, and here are a few pictures at the airport.  I didn't get good pictures of greeting her, but that's okay because I was busy greeting.  : )  I'll post over the next few days pictures of some of the things that we did with her.
