LOVE Valentine's Day!!!

Maybe it's because I have so many wonderful people in my life to celebrate and love, maybe it's because I married my true love on Valentine's Day, and mostly it's because I'm cheesy like that--but I LOVE Valentine's Day. We had fun making Valentine's for cousins, making our heart shaped sugar cookies for lots of friends, and the boys each had a mailbox that they found notes and surprises in for the first few weeks of February. The last picture is of the Valentine's/Anniversary dinner that I made for David while he was at leadership training meeting. He came home just in time to tell the boys goodnight and then we had a nice dinner. While we were working on the dinner I told Benjamin that Dad is my Valentine. He thought for a second and said, "Well, Hunter is my Valentine." Priceless. : ) Happy Valentine's to whoever you are, because if you're reading this I'm sure I love and appreciate you. And most of all, Happy Valentine's Day and Happy 8th Anniversary to David. Thank you for blessing my life every day!!!!!!!!! I love you.

Discover the Dinosaurs!

Benjamin, Hunter and I headed to the Dayton Convention Center a few weeks ago with a HOST of other little boys (okay, girls, too) to "discover the dinosaurs." They had several life size replicas of dinosaurs to see (complete with prehistoric atmosphere--think dark lighting and dinosaur sounds) and a lot of fun activities to do. Benjamin discovered the joys of miniature golf and loved the LARGE bounce house/dinosaur slide. Hunter loved an area where they had many small dinosaurs for him to sit on. I took pictures of him on every different color dinosaur and am making a photo book for him to learn colors with. Fun, fun. I LOVE MY BOYS!!!

The medicine goes down...

I just love these pictures of Benjamin from a few weeks ago. He was on an antibiotic for an ear infection. Here he is seriously contemplating the pros and cons of taking said medicine. : )

Working with Dad

Okay, time for catch up. I know I planned on posting a picture a day. I guess if you average out all of the pictures I have posted maybe it comes close? : ) I'll keep trying.
First, a few weeks ago David (and his trusty assistants Benjamin and Hunter) made some storage shelves for our basement.
